ROTARIAN EUGENIA DIKE IS NEW PRESIDENT OF ROTARY CLUB OF HENDON

Rotary Club of Hendon held its annual fundraising event this past weekend. It was a beautiful affair, which incorporated the handing over ceremony, where Rotarian Eugenia Dike took over from Rotarian Robert Lartey, as President. On the night, two new members – Eli Benson and Dr Francisca Onyeocha, were inducted. In attendance were other Club Members, Rotarians Alex Ayodeji, Michelle Adeyinka, Dr. Kadhim Lami, Rita Nwokeji, Charlyn Duru and Ayo Oyebade. Special Guest was Madam Deputy Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Caroline Stock. There was also representation from other Rotary Clubs: Wembley, Southgate, Hampstead and Victoria City Garden, Lagos. Rotary Club of Hendon meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, at Holiday Inn Brent Cross, Tilling Road, London NW2, from 7pm.

After over 70years of association and meeting at the Hendon Hall Hotel, the Rotary Club of Hendon is moving to a new home as the hotel in Hendon will be closing for business at the end of the year. From 9 April 2018, the Rotary Club of Hendon will be meeting at the Holiday Inn Hotel located in - Brent Cross Tilling Road Brent Cross London NW2 1LP United Kingdom.

It's another great moment as Rotary club members gathered together to formally introduce Otunba Ade Adeshina as new Rotarian at Hendon Rotary Club London. The President Michelle Adeyinka in her welcoming address charged the members not to fail in their duty to Rotarian, keep on moving in Rotarian spirit and always remember the motto ‘Service above self’. In his response, Otunba Ade Adeshina said his committed to work with the club and also contribute more to the society. He appreciates the club members and friends that gathered to witness the induction ceremony. It was time to socialise and give loyal toast to the queen.
